The Year in Review
In 2003 we responded to our client’s needs for more extensive domestic and Asia Pacific-wide services that deliver consistent methodologies and strong learning outcomes. The expansion of our services for you across Australia, New Zealand and Asia has also lead us expand The SynergyGroup service offerings in some exciting areas.

In 2004, we are committed to continue to deliver the highest level of services across Asia Pacific and Australia, enabling us to support those of you with domestic and regional training and development requirements.

Our expansion into Asia Pacific could not have come without your support. We are privileged to work with many of the world's leading businesses and the success of these relationships has fostered greater motivation and passion for us to continue our work with you while expanding our horizons.

New Expansions
One of the most exciting initiatives for this quarter is the launch of the Synergy e-Campus – our e-learning platform. Synergy e-Campus provides on-line learning re-enforcement of our programs as part of our proprietary, blended learning approach. At The SynergyGroup we pride ourselves on our responsiveness to industry development and change and are constantly seeking ways to improve our training methodology and delivery with innovative ideas and the most up-to-date industry practices. Part of our success in doing that is our constant exposure to the APAC Regions leading Department and Organisational heads from both a Commercial and Learning & Development perspective.

With this level of exposure comes the unearthing of better techniques of delivery, new technologies and methodologies that we employ into to our offering to you, our clients in providing leading edge, innovative learning solutions.

In wanting to share with you some of these ideas and technologies The SynergyGroup will be facilitating a number of forums, where combined with your own expertise and experience, a mix of industry specialists and our master facilitators will be invited to attend short ‘invitation only’ breakfast sessions at our Balmain Learning Centre to exchange ideas.

In brief there are two events to be held this Quarter, these are listed and briefly expanded on below.

The SynergyGroup ‘Learning Symposiums’ - we invite you- our clients to attend a symposium run buy our trainers on The SynergyGroups’ latest topics and strategies that deliver strong learning outcomes. The Symposium will provide you with the opportunity to meet our talented team of consultants and facilitators, and take away some fresh ideas that you can utilize within your businesses immediately.

The SynergyGroup Presents’ – those department heads among us whether in Sales, Marketing or Human Resources meet over breakfast to discuss issues that are topical to your discipline facilitated by The SynergyGroup and industry sector specialist. We will provide several topic options and by way of a poll the two topics nominated the most popular provide the basis of our presentation and following discussion around them.

All of the above events are to be staged at our Synergy Learning Centre in Balmain and run from 8am through to 9:30am. Refreshments and a light breakfast will be provided. We see this as a great opportunity to bring to into focus new ideas, processes and innovations that we as a collective group can share, learn and ultimately profit from within our own working environments.

The SynergyGroup are proud to announce the availability of the Synergy e-Campus which provides complementary online learning modules for a range of Synergy Professional Development Programs.

For managers, e-Campus offers an effective Learning Management System (LMS) based on tracking, monitoring and learning measurement tools. Through quantitative and qualitative feedback on participants’ course progression and results e-Campus allows management to evaluate long term attitudinal and skill behavioural change and ROI.

For course participants, e-Campus programs provide on-going feedback and support learning gained during face-to-face programs. The e-Campus online environment features interactive exercises, simulations, and discussion forums which extend learning experiences outside of workshops and aim to reinforce understanding and application of course content.

The benefits from e-Learning include, cost reduction, engagement of participants, self guided and self paced learning and ongoing reinforcement, but in evaluating whether an e-learning solution is right for your organisation or employees, it is important to consider a few key issues before adding learning to your training program.

According to leading industry analysts, learning will be most effective when it is:

Integrated as part of a blended
training curriculum

Aligned with business processes
& objectives

Offered as part of an ongoing
training solution
